flapping moment is an in situ choreographic performance for one person. after agreeing on a specific time (this can be any time when both are free, from early morning to midnight), the spectator and performer meet at a fixed place. both are equipped with headphones and share the same soundscape. once they arrive at the viewpoint, a dance will unfold. a dance that is individual yet collective, far away and very intimate.

while observing the urban landscape from the inside, both beings share a moment, a connection, a flapping moment.

flapping moment could be seen as an invitation to discover another, simultaneous plane of existence between and with each other.
